Grid Domination works without registration. An optional account saves your progress, achievements, match history and ranked rating across devices. We do not display advertising or use advertising SDKs. On Android, Google Play Games also processes platform identity, analytics and diagnostics as described below, including when you have not created a Grid Domination account.
Creating or linking a Grid Domination account through Google or Apple sign-in is optional; Apple sign-in is available on supported platforms. Platform services process identity and game data under their own policies. Our server verifies account sign-in proofs and remains the source of your rating and achievements. When configured and available, the game sends unlocked achievements and scores to Play Games or Game Center.
On Android, the Play Games SDK is initialized when the app starts and may authenticate your existing Play Games profile automatically according to your Google settings. This platform profile is separate from a Grid Domination account. Google processes gamer identity, such as your gamer name and avatar, and automatically collects SDK analytics and diagnostics to maintain stability and improve its services. Signing out of your Grid Domination account does not by itself disable this platform processing. See the Google Privacy Policy and Play Games data disclosure. You can manage your platform profile through Play Games profile settings and follow Google's instructions to delete Play Games data or your profile.
On iOS, Google Sign-In processes your Google user identifier and basic profile information to authenticate you. Google may use your IP address to estimate a general location for fraud prevention. The SDK's privacy manifest also declares device identifiers, usage information and other data for analytics. See Google's iOS sign-in data disclosure and the Google Privacy Policy linked above for Google's processing.
The website and app WebView also load fonts from Google Fonts. Font requests expose network and HTTP metadata, such as your IP address, requested URL and browser user agent, to Google so it can deliver the fonts. Google's processing is governed by its privacy policy.
If you email support or request deletion by email, your email provider and our support mailbox process your address and message so we can answer the request. Do not send passwords or recovery codes.
A copy of your guest nickname and reconnect identifiers is stored on your device; they are also transmitted to the server. Active guest sessions and unfinished rooms are held in server memory, and other players see your nickname during play. Account profiles, game progress and match records are stored in our database until account deletion. Refresh sessions expire after 30 days; expired records are removed by scheduled cleanup. Fraud-prevention records and abuse reports are removed according to the server's configured retention and cleanup schedules. Pending match journals are removed after successful processing. Unlinked match results and a minimal deleted-account marker may remain to preserve match integrity. Retention of database backups and infrastructure access logs depends on the hosting operator's configuration.
Guests can clear browser site data or uninstall the app to remove local data. Account holders can delete their account in the game: open Profile → Delete account and confirm with a fresh sign-in. This removes names, credentials, sessions, linked identities, friendship links, blocks, progress, ratings and account links from match records. Apple tokens are revoked before deletion. You can also request account deletion on the web if you cannot access the game. Deletion cannot be undone.
Deleting a Grid Domination account does not by itself delete data held in your Google Play Games profile or by another sign-in provider. Use the provider's own controls as well. Deleting Play Games data likewise does not delete the separate account data held by Grid Domination.
Please do not use real names in your handle, display name or guest nickname. If you are a parent or guardian and need help deleting an account, use the deletion request page.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
